Grievance / Clarification Regarding Financial Quotation Upload – EPADS 2.0, Ref. P97882

Dear Sir/Madam,

With reference to Tender Ref. P97882 – Purchase of Lab Equipment for Project ES Lab at PNEC-NUST Karachi, we wish to highlight a concern regarding the EPADS 2.0 submission workflow.

Normally, the financial price is entered under the “Bid Quotation” section, where it remains system-controlled/locked as applicable during the evaluation process. However, in this tender, the Annexure section separately requires the vendor to upload the “Financial Quotation” under the Annexure section as a Financial Submission, as visible on EPADS.

Uploading a financial quotation as an annexure may potentially make the quoted price accessible outside the normal system-controlled financial bid workflow. We therefore request PNEC-NUST to kindly clarify/correct the EPADS configuration and confirm whether bidders are required to upload the completed Financial Quotation in the Annexure section, without compromising confidentiality and transparency of the financial bid.
