Sub: Clarifications & Corrections sought

We, Skyline Traders intend to paticipate in the above mentioned tender. While studying the tender document we observed some discrepancies which are:

1) ITEMS/LOTS (page 29 of 159) to (page 58 of 159)

These 30 pages describing the Name of the item, it’s UNSPSC, it’s delivery address, delivery schedule, quantity, Bid Security Amount etc.

A) The items are not “serial numbered” which creates a problem when some item is to be refered to someone.

2) ITEMS/LOT SPECIFICATION (page 60 of 159) to (page 89 of 159)

Another 30 pages descrivibng the Item, it’s UNSPSC, it’s Specifications/Requirements and it’s quantity.

B)Page 78 of 159: Serial No. NIL - Item is specified as “Pipe Wrench siz 18” and it’s specifications describe it as “ALUMINUM PIPE WRENCH”. Normally if tools are to be sought of a metal other than steel (such as Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Titnium etc) then the specified metal is added as PREFIX to the tool name. In this case it is not specified in (i) ITEMS/LOTS (page 29 of 159) to (page 58 of 159) or in “APPENDIX-B (page 136 of 159).

C) Page 78 of 159: Serial No. NIL - Item is specified as “Pipe Wrench siz 24” and it’s specifications describe it as “ALUMINUM PIPE WRENCH”. Normally if tools are to be sought of a metal other than steel (such as Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Titnium etc) then the specified metal is added as PREFIX to the tool name. In this case it is not specified in (i) ITEMS/LOTS (page 29 of 159) to (page 58 of 159) or in “APPENDIX-B (page 136 of 159).

D) Page 79 0f 159: Serial No. NIL - Item is specified as “Brass Hammer ith Handle 10-Lbs”.  It’s “SPECIFICAIONS / REQUIREMENTS” describe it as “ALUMINUM PIPE WRENCH - Clause No.1: Straight Pipe Wrenches of sturdy aluminum construction ……..”. What is being sought here - Brass Hammer OR Aluminum Pipe Wrench?

E) Page 81 0f 159: Serial No. NIL - Item is specified as “M.S. Hammer With Handle 10-Lbs”.  It’s “SPECIFICAIONS / REQUIREMENTS” describe it as “BRASS HAMMER - Clause No.1: Brass Hammer with Hickory handle …….”. What is being sought here - M.S. Hammer OR Brass Hammer?

3) ANNEXURE of the “Bidding Document” at ePads 2.0 (page 134 of 159 to page 152 of 159).

A) APPENDIX-C-4 (page 142 of 159) - Page titled “LOOSE TOOLS - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS”. Page specifies Technical Specifications for 3 items but it is not clear which items of the SOR (page 134 of 159 to 136 of 159) these refer to.

B) APPENDIX-C-5 (page 143 of 159) - Page specifies Technical Specifications for 1 item but it is not clear which item of the SOR (page 134 of 159 to 136 of 159) it refers to.

C) APPENDIX-C-7, C-8, C-09, C-10, C-11, C-12, C-13 & C-14 (page 144 of 159 to page 152 of 159).  Pages refer to Technical Specifications of Tools which are “Serial Numbered” but it is not clear which items of the SOR (page 134 of 159 to 136 of 159) these refer to.

It is requested the discepancies highlighted above may be cleared and the information conyeved to the prospective bidders before the opening of the tender.
