Revision of Overall Project Duration

As per the RFP, the overall project duration is 270 days (09 months). Considering the extensive scope of the assignment, including field surveys, 100% GIS mapping of the LT network, data collection and validation, network modelling, load-flow studies, preparation of reports, addressing HESCO’s observations, and coordination during the review and approval process, the stipulated duration of 270 days may not be sufficient for proper completion of the assignment.

Based on our practical experience in carrying out similar T&D Technical Losses Studies for other DISCOs, sufficient time is essential to ensure comprehensive field verification, accurate network modelling, reconciliation of data, and preparation of reliable study results without compromising the quality of the assignment.

It is, therefore, requested that the overall project duration may kindly be increased from 270 days (09 months) to at least twelve (12) months from the date of commencement of services, and the corresponding completion schedule/milestones may be revised accordingly.

Extension in duration of project Timeline

As the time line has been fixed upon the direction of NEPRA, thus the  procuring agency can not extend the duration of project by itself, however the NEPRA authority is being approached to allow the duration of project from 09 months to 18 months, if NEPRA acceeded to the request, the same will be communicated. Further for this purpose in first phase the submission deadline is being extended from 03.09.2026 to 30.09.2026.
