With reference to the subject tender, we would like to request your kind confirmation regarding the acceptable form of Bid Security. As stated in the BDS, Clause No. 11, “The amount of Bid Security shall be as defined in the Bid Security Section for items and lots given in BDS 6. The Bid Security shall be in the form of: Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee.”

In this regard, we respectfully request your kind permission to allow submission of the Bid Security in the form of a Pay Order (PO) instead of Call at Deposit and Bank Guarantee, as Call at Deposit and Bank Guarantee are not readily available.

Your confirmation at the earliest will enable us to submit our bid in accordance with the tender requirements. We shall highly appreciate your prompt response.
