1. The tender documentation mentions the detection of nuclear/radioactive material, but no detailed specifications or technical requirements for a Radiation Portal -Monitor (RPM) have been provided. Please confirm whether an RPM is required to be supplied as part of the cargo scanner system. If required, please provide the required technical specifications, detection sensitivity, alarm criteria, installation arrangement, and applicable standards.

2. The tender mentions container identification/tracking, but it is unclear whether a Container Code Reader (CCR) is required as part of the proposed system. Please confirm whether a CCR is required. If container tracking is required, please clarify the intended tracking methodology

3. Please confirm where the centralized monitoring/display system is required to be physically installed

4. If integration with existing airport systems is required, please provide the details of the existing systems, communication protocols, APIs, database interfaces, network architecture, and data formats that will be made available to the cargo scanner supplier

1. Exact location where the scanner is supposed to be placed

2. Will the power be supplied by PAA onsite or we would require a generator for power?

3. Will there be any fencing required at the scanning area? If yes, how much area will be allowed for fencing.

4. The scanner have external alarm, please confirm the aound of alarm wont make any unnecessary disturbance in the area

5. Why each tender requires a separate centralized monitoring system for each type of product when a centralized system for all products can be provided collectively?

With reference to the subject tender, we respectfully request your kind consideration for a 50% reduction in the Bid Security requirement. Considering the substantial amount currently prescribed, such a reduction would encourage wider participation from qualified bidders while maintaining a competitive procurement process.

We also request an extension of the bid submission deadline by four (04) weeks from the current closing date. The additional time will enable bidders to complete the necessary coordination with international OEMs, obtain the required technical and commercial documentation, and prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals.
