Grievance Regarding Inclusion of PEC Registration in Eligibility Criteria
M/s Mardan Traders respectfully submits that the requirement of PEC Registration in the eligibility criteria may kindly be reviewed. The subject procurement is for the supply, delivery and installation of furniture items only, which is a procurement of goods and does not ordinarily require PEC registration. This condition may unnecessarily restrict competition by excluding experienced and qualified furniture manufacturers and suppliers. It is therefore requested that the PEC registration requirement be omitted or revised to ensure fair competition and wider participation of eligible bidders.
