Clarification Regarding Quantity of 11-kV Un-Switched Capacitor Banks 450-kVAR (3×150-kVAR)
Dear Sir,
With reference to the tender published on EPADS 2.0 for 11-kV Un-Switched Capacitor Bank 450-kVAR (3×150-kVAR) with Rack, the quantity mentioned in the tender is 136/No.
We understand that one complete 450-kVAR Capacitor Bank comprises 3 Nos. of 150-kVAR capacitor units, installed on a rack having provision for three capacitors.
Therefore, kindly clarify whether the stated quantity of 136 Nos. refers to:
1. 136 complete sets/banks, each consisting of 3 × 150-kVAR capacitor units with one rack; OR
2. 136 individual 150-kVAR capacitor units, which would constitute approximately 45 complete banks (with 1 unit remaining).
This clarification is requested to ensure correct understanding of the BOQ quantity, pricing, and scope of supply before submission of our bid.
