Technical Conflict Resolution Request

With reference to Tender for the "Procurement of Sling Chain for Channel Buoys in Quantity 15 Sets required for Port Department" with the reference of "P101557", please clarify the following discrepancies between the technical requirements and the purchaser’s drawing:

1.           Chain grade: The specification initially requires a new, unused 56 mm Grade 3 stud-link anchor chain cable. However, the subsequent requirement and purchaser’s drawing specify Grade 2 (minimum).

2.           Chain length and link quantity: The written requirement specifies a 32 m sling chain comprising 137 common links (E+EL+137C+EL+E), whereas the purchaser’s drawing indicates approximately 27.5 m comprising 117 common links.

Kindly confirm the final governing requirements for:

•            Chain grade: Grade 2 or Grade 3

•            Sling-chain length: 27.5 m or 32 m

•            Number of common links: 117C or 137C

Your clarification is requested to enable submission of a fully compliant technical and commercial offer.
